FURIOUS at the Misogynists and Lesbophobes in OM Fandom

A few recent confessions about Thirteen made me MATI so this is my rant.

Thirteen still does traps on MC, she is still a prankster and inventor, but she gets sidelined hella hard and is usually limited to one or two cameos with MC or a brief interaction with other characters. She's never going to be antagonistic to MC.

Girl is not their priority despite being a love interest. She gets shoved in the background or not sexualized even when male characters get a ton of stupid fanservice. I can only assume the artists and writers are walking on eggshells with her because of lesbophobes and misogynists or shallowly appealing to the "We're different! We don't sexualize women 😁"

She has feelings for MC the fastest because they get along and she's attracted to them. Their chemistry is explored quickly in Chats in OM, but I doubt most of you will reach those because of how late in the series the newbies appeared.

She asks them on dates and shows up "by coincidence" A LOT because she likes them and wants to spend time with ONLY THEM frequently. In events she only shows up for MC (or texts them) and then gets shoved out of the story entirely because OhHhHh she's sooooooo antisocial~ Despite initially being reluctant to game with MC, the bros and Mephisto she really enjoyed it and their company!

Thirteen likes MC's bedroom whereas Mephisto was unimpressed with MC's room and insulted it.

She didn't go googoo gaga for no reason about MC, MC's soul is beautiful and attracted her. She wants to have it "when you're done with it" instead of reaping it. How in the hell does that imply she doesn't want to let them go? JUST LIKE THE BROS AND SIDES.

ANOTHER THING. Thirteen doesn't like people dropping in at her house and doesn't invite them either. She invites MC in chats to see her and I wish that MC would visit her more.

THIRTEEN WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE SIDES AFFECTED BY MISSING MC. She loves them and misses them as well as let them close to her when already stated she's anti-social and aloof. She has a broken heart button on her RAD uniform that she sewed on herself along with the other heart buttons. It makes me wonder about her past and that she's opened herself up to MC and love even though her heart was/is broken.

And if MC isn't into things like cosmetics, shopping and other "girly" interests it's possibly to reject her/hanging out. She likes to treat them to coffee, desserts and shopping trips whereas multiple other characters use that as bribes or rewards or leeching off MC's wallet.

Mephistopheles has a low opinion of MC and Raphael is indifferent to them. Suddenly getting feelings in events makes no fucking sense.

Mephistopheles opens up to MC in the main story and contacted them to brag about his brother, but in his birthday call on year 2 he is suddenly into them and wants to get to know them???

Raphael isn't even friendly with MC in the story, the Raphael we met has been Michael in two out of three instances. He suddenly starts talking about "feeling something for MC" when he went up against Barbatos who was the hardest won Love Interest in the game.

Fuck off, seriously fuck off with the homophobia/misogyny. She is our love interest not yours and not a rival or antagonist.

Shipping Thirteen with any of the scrotes ROYALLY pisses me off because I HATE straight couples and M/F. I kept that to myself, for the most part, but if some of you are hating on shippers for shipping gay couples and exclusively want your scrotes to yourselves Thirteen fans can too. Stop shipping the one female option off in male relationships when it's literally just to get her away from your man. Making up a male MC or a political lesbian MC is BULLSHIT and looking for attention and asspats for being inclusive.

Po/rn is an inherently misogynistic and objectifying exploitation of women's bodies and sexuality and should not EVER be used to make sexy art of women in my opinion. One of the pics I hate most is her jerking off two faceless/mob characters in a subjugated pose. That was backhanded, hateful and degrading.

The sound of deep thumps and metal clashing stopped as soon as Bucky approached the gym. Most of the team had been training. Loki in particular threw himself into drill works with his daggers. He stopped momentarily when he saw Barnes walk into the gymnasium. As did all the other men who were there.

Loki noted that only Xu and Lang were the only ones who continued their exercises. As if they didn’t need to know the outcome of Barnes’ photoshoot with you.

“It’s not me guys,” he said with the most forlorn expression. Wilson came up to him and patted him on the shoulder. Rogers just crossed his arms with a trivial look of smugness on his face.

A small bud of hope bloomed inside of Loki as Thor nudged him on the shoulder. “Ikke bry deg om de, bror. Helvete vil ønske deg velkommen raskere med all din bekymring.” (Don’t pay them any attention, brother. Hell would welcome you faster with all your worrying.)

“Det er vanskelig å la være når disse gribbene prøver å vinne kjærligheten til ditt livs kjærlighet.” (It's hard not to when these vultures are trying to win the affection of the love of your life.)

“FAEN! (Fuck!) I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!” Thor burst into a scream.

“Shh. Shh.” Loki shushed him, pushing him to keep quiet as everyone’s attention turned towards Thor.

“Peace. Peace.” Thor said to everyone else. “As you were.” But inside, Thor felt as giddy as spring maidens frolicking in the newly bloomed fields of Asgard.

Meanwhile, Nat, Wanda, and Pepper had taken you out of the tower completely to have dinner. They saw you break down. You haven’t been yourself in a while and they missed your usual joyful nature.

Pepper took you all to an exclusive restaurant where you had a private booth in the back all to yourselves. The dinner was exquisite and you were all just drinking and relaxing talking about various life pursuits.

“So, how’s the calendar coming along?” Pepper asked. “Tony isn’t overworking you, is he?”

“No. No, he’s not. He’s been very lax about it actually.” You answered.

“So why do you look like you’re so wound up?” Wanda asked sipping her cocktail.

“Well imagine, that every single day of your job, you have to fend off the advances of different men hoping to get your attention. Some of them being your closest friends and others really just breaking your heart.”

Nat snorted and gave you the side-eye. “Ok miss perfect. I get it,” you said to her.

“Why don’t you just tell them it’s Laufeyson and get it over with? You should’ve just done that from the beginning.” Nat said.

“Ok, you knew?!” You exclaimed.

“We all did,” Pepper said.

“Frankly I don’t know why it’s taking the guys so long to figure it out. It’s so freaking obvious.” Wanda chimed in.

“Which brings me back to my question. Why don’t you just say it’s him and get it over with?” Nat asked again.

“Because he doesn’t like me, Nat. He only thinks of me as a friend.” The collective groan from the three women made you cringe. “I’m not ready for that rejection.”

“You’re just as oblivious as the men!” Wanda yelled, signaling the bartender for another cocktail.

“They’re probably all in the gym right now. Working out, thinking that they need that extra muscle to show off.” Pepper giggled. “When in reality it’s the…”

“…the arms,” Nat interjected. “When you can trace that vein up his arms and rolled-up sleeves because he’s straining to keep his unbridled desire for you.”

“Or the stare. When he sees you walk into a room and his eyes darken and his jaw clenches at the sight of you and he loses all train of thought.” Wanda added.

“…the whispers in your ear.” Pepper finally finished, looking out into the restaurant, lost in her train of thought. “The sweet romantic ones of love and support. Then the dirty naughty ones when no one is watching.” All four of you tittered at Pepper’s thoughts.

“No. They’re all at the gym right now working out because they can’t understand the female gaze.”

“To the female gaze.” Nat raised her drink up high.

“To the female gaze,” you all followed.

Hmm...You know how with Asmo and MC, when it comes to the clear moment where romance should be involved. Especially with Asmo clearly flirting or showing clear feelings, interest and love for the MC. But the writers just often make it platonic(without our choice) or make the MC a jerk to him or reject him instead?(Again, we often get no choice in these moments on these reactions towards him.)

...I fear similar might happen with Thirteen if/when she becomes dateable...

Asmo get this treatment I feel, because he's the most openly queerest character of the cast...And clearly been shown to be the less popular character from the series, because of this fact. (which is ironic because ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE QUEER. Yet many seem to believe or want to believe that isn't the case. Reminder, loves, just because they are dating you, a straight person, doesn't automatically make your OM darling straight now too. They are still queer. 💕)

Thirteen, obviously, is a woman, and that will make queerness more apparent between her and the MC. Especially if you're playing your MC as a woman in game. (who supposedly are the most popular/accepted of gender MC/players, compared to men/nonbinary players/MCs. Even though, stating once again, the game and characters are openly queer and inclusive of all/any players.)

Like this is just my thoughts rn but...if this does turn out to be the case in the future...Then these cards of Asmo and Thirteen often set together, and any future ones that might come out too...Will be quite sad/ironic(?) to see and get...

i like to think that besides asmo, none of the brothers + demons actually got to sleeping around. like they get asmo's situation but they don't actually get partaking in one night stands and fwbs. they're demons not succubi! giving someone permission/control to their bodies in such a state is a HUGE thing. so when mc leaves them in the morning they're all just a mixture of lost, confusion and despair– they just bared their souls to you after all!– even more so when mc thinks of it as nothing more than just a casual fuck and is confused why they're all acting like this. bonus points if mc has actually fucked their way thru the demons and they're all just finding out

idk just the thought of humans being crueler than demons in that sense, miniscule really but if you think about it...

(non-explicit nsfw thoughts below—I reference the OM! characters in a general sense but obviously this does not include Luke)

I think the fandom's different opinions on how the demon brothers view sex and intimacy is really interesting. I imagine every writer has their own headcanons about it and how their own reader/MC characters respond. @onyourowndaisymae explored this in her roster series and we had a lot of great conversations while she was writing it. (Gushing about the way we characterize Barbatos and Simeon our favs is always fun to do. lol)

For me personally, I usually write the characters assuming they've had sex at some point in their very long lives, but I use a sliding scale of sorts to label which characters indulge more often than the others and why I think so.

I also tend to imagine my reader/MC as someone that's had sex in the past (writing virgin!reader stuff isn't something I'm super interested in). My reader/MC character enjoys physical intimacy/affection but is also a bit passive/shy about pursuing others for romantic or sexual purposes (typical human self-esteem/confidence issues at play).

How I would approach this idea:

— shy/insecure poly!reader has feelings/attraction for the demon brothers — reader has sex with them assuming a "real" relationship isn't what the demons are interested in (because they're only human, why would they be, they could have anyone else, etc.) and try to be satisfied with it being physical-only — the demons are angsty/hurt the morning after but reader doesn't understand why; the demons feel rejected because they want more, while reader thinks their body is all the demons want — some sort of dramatic blowout and afterwards all the misunderstandings are finally resolved (literal and figurative happy endings for everyone)

It's fun to think about and I kind of like the idea. It's a popular conversation topic in this fandom for a reason—everyone can tweak it to fit their own preferences and MC character/self-insert. My personal spin on this, if I wrote it, would probably be limited to the characters I like writing for (including some of the angels and maybe an OC or two, you know who I am by now lol).

Helloo, I’ve been thinking lately— how do you think the brothers/dateables would react to MC coming out as polyamorous/wanting a polyamorous relationship? I think weeks or even a month ago you reblogged a poll with OM threesomes? After I saw the post I kept wondering how Solomon would take a poly (V/pivot, with MC as pivot) relationship lol (because he tends to be jealous/insecure at times, but baby so am I :’))

Yes this is super super random lmao— in my defense my heart would absolutely break if I were ever forced to choose between Sol and Barbatos. I just can’t— thus I won’t I also wouldn’t reject Simeon ansbd I may (accidentally) have my favorites but it still would shatter my heart if I had to choose just one person (maybe even two’s not enough)

Ah yes the poll I reblogged is here! @devildomwriter (I hope you don't mind me tagging you!) has been posting polls regularly and there was a series of them for who you'd like to threesome with. They might still be going! Last time I saw one, I think it was on part 11??

Anyway, I have thought about this very question because of the exact situation you describe - having to choose. Uh, I'm gonna put this under a read more 'cause it got kinda long!

The interesting thing about Obey Me is that MC can date everybody. If you always choose the romantic options for all the characters, then they all have to be okay with MC being poly. However, the jealousy between the brothers alone is a big theme that happens all the time in the story. They're constantly fighting over who gets to spend time with MC. I always felt like the OG deliberately made it seem like the characters were somehow unaware of the fact that MC might be dating all of them lol.

The brothers especially seem to be oblivious of this since there's no way they haven't figured it out when all seven of them plus MC live together. They must know they're part of a poly octopus, right?

But a more choosy MC might only have a poly V or some other configuration so if we consider how they'd all react to being in a V with MC as the pivot, then I think some of them are going to be able to handle that easier than others.

For instance, I think Solomon would struggle with a V situation. He would try to act like it doesn't bother him because he wants to support MC and he wants them to be happy. But he definitely gets jealous. I think it's something he would be willing to work through and I also think it could change depending on who the other part of the V is. I think he'd be more jealous of Lucifer than Barbatos, for example.

However, I very much think that Solomon would have a lot less of an issue if he was in a triad with MC. I think you could do this with Asmodeus, Barbatos, Satan, or Simeon and he'd be okay with it. Mayyyybe Levi too.

I kind of think in a lot of cases, it really depends on who the other person in the situation is.

I think generally speaking, Satan, Asmo, Beel, Belphie, Diavolo, and Barbatos probably wouldn't have any major issues with either a V or a triad/throuple situation. They're all confident enough in themselves and their love for MC that it wouldn't be a problem. Beel and Belphie are practically in a V with MC already anyway.

Lucifer is too prideful and I think he'd have a problem with the V if the other person was someone he didn't think was worthy of MC. Solomon? No way. Diavolo? He'd be okay with that. I also think a Lucifer/MC/Diavolo triad would work.

Mammon freaks out any time MC so much as looks at one of his brothers lol. However, I think he would want to do whatever makes MC happiest. I think he would struggle a bit with a V situation and he would need a lot of reassurance from MC. I think his insecurities would make him question himself unless MC was always telling him how important he is to them.

Levi probably wouldn't do well at all. I mean, he's the Avatar of Envy himself, do you really think he could share MC with anybody?? I just can't see it. I think a V would upset him. I think he'd be much happier with a triad situation, but he might still struggle with it.

Now Simeon is interesting because I personally think he'd be okay with it, but I do think he'd have opinions about the other person involved. Kind of like Lucifer, he'd want them to be someone he thinks is worthy of MC and if they're not, he'll make sure they know it.

Anyway, all of this is to say that I think you would be able to do a V with Solomon and Barbatos if that was your desire! I think both of them would just want you to be happy and in the OG, they're actually friends! So I think it'd be fine!

And since they all don't seem to be bothered by the fact that MC can date all of them, I'm of the opinion that you don't actually need to choose anybody at all. When I play, I choose the romancing options for all of them because I love them all so much lol.

The front door opened as Elektra power walked in, adorned in a stealth suit from her military days, weapons on her sides. She was holding a Stark Pad and flipped it to show Frank. “Five vehicles. All hired, which is why the cameras weren’t triggered. Four guys in each, apart from the middle one. A van. Looks like there’s a couple in the front. Heat signatures show four tied up in the back. “You put the call in?” Frank asked. “Yep. S.H.I.E.L.D are on route. Apparently they lost them in Yorktown, been tailing them for a couple of months.” Frank shook his head in disbelief. Not only had S.H.I.E.L.D been given the slip by Hydra, they had the nerve to not tell anyone what was going on. Frank and his pack had fought side by side S.H.I.E.L.D. They had been S.H.I.E.L.D’s special task force and now they’d led Hydra to his doorstep. The last time they were here they’d killed his wife and kids. To say he was pissed was an understatement. Frank knew one thing for sure. None of those bastards were leaving alive. “What’s the plan boss?” Luke asked. “You in? Completely understand if you want to stay back with Jess and the kids.” Luke gestured down at himself, showing he was already dressed for the fight. “Luke…” “They’re in the bunker with Matt, Foggy and the others. She said to tell you I’m in and if I’m not she is.” Frank sighed and shook his head. He knew Luke was right. If he sent him back, Jess would only replace him. He nodded at Luke and turned towards the still open door that led to the garden. Your hands twitching as you strengthened the shield over the town. Billy’s hand had replaced his on your lower back and his eyes were on you, filled with worry. “Bill get your gear on!” he yelled. Billy turned and looked at Frank and back at you, not wanting to leave your side. Elektra spotted Billy’s concern and made her way towards them. “Get your gear Russo. I’ve got the little witch covered.” Elektra took his place at your side as he rushed in to put on the gear that Frank practically through at him. You side eyed her briefly. “You OK?” she enquired. You nodded. “Is Jess in the bunker with the kids?” “Yes, Matt and Foggy are too, as well as the other pack members.” “I need you to tell them something.” “Go on.” Elektra replied, stepping closer to you. “If somethings happens, if something happens to me….” “Nothing is going..” “Elektra I need you to listen.” you were forceful in your voice and turned to face her as a clap of thunder rippled through the shield a demonstration of its strength to anyone looking. Elektra lowered her eyes and had to stop herself tilting her head in submission. She put it down to the fact you were full witch right now, your powers on full display and the wolf in you ready to come out but there was something in it. You were still an omega and something in your assertive tone screamed True Luna but that was a conversation for later. “Do you remember the conversation we had about flares? Do you remember?” Elektra nodded of course she remembered. Simon Lewis Propaganda

Just within the first book he gets accidentally turned into a rat. He's thrown into the Shadow world (the hidden monsters and demon hunters in the real world, usually under glamor) with very little fanfare and by God he does not want to be there. He gets turned into a vampire against his will and was kidnapped and drained of nearly all his blood by the main villain. He's held prisoner and starved for months again later by another dude. Ome of his friends gets kidnapped and held hostage and eventually killed. He had some of his happiest memories unwittingly stolen by a demon. His mother rejects him for being a vampire and puts up stars of david (hes Jewish) around the hluse to keep him out. And more! Pretty much the whole series is just "poor Simon". He's a nerd in a college band and is not prepared to deal with any of this.

Prabhas Rejected Om Raut's Idea Of Making Adipurush In 2 Parts?

As per reports, Om Raut offered to shoot and release Adipurush in two parts. However, the plans could not materialise. The movie is now running in cinema halls.

Om Raut directed Adipurush released in theatres on June 16. The film debuted with a record breaking opening weekend and has since collected Rs 410 crore gross at the worldwide box office. Meanwhile, a rumour of Adipurush initially being planned as a two-part series has surfaced online.

Adipurush is Prabhas and Om Raut’s first collaboration. According to reports, the director intended to split the film into two parts. The total length of the film footage was reportedly approximately three hours and twenty minutes. Om wanted to continue filming for another month, which would help him extend the runtime.

Given that two-hour films are now popular, Raut intended to break the narrative into two parts. However, his plan couldn’t come into fruition. Did you know that Prabhas was the reason behind it?

Who’s saying what

As per reports, Raut planned to shoot and release Adipurush in two parts, but Prabhas rejected the idea. Prabhas persuaded the director and the team that a two-part approach would not be appropriate for the film. As a result, the creators decided to scrap their plans. With a good start at the box office, the movie is looking to break even at the box office by the end of its first week run.

Meanwhile, Adipurush had a record-breaking opening weekend both in India and internationally, but the movie's revenues dropped in the weekdays. There has been some criticism over its dialogues. However, within 2 days of its release, the makers announced their decision to alter them and re-issue the new prints in cinema halls. The makers also lowered the ticket prices to attract more footfalls. The tickets for the 3D version will be available for Rs 150 on June 22 and 23.

The Scott and Cleo getting married for tax benefits is firstly: just good? since Scott does Not want to be too close to anyone Not Chill abt villains so he's just straight up not dating.

it's actually really sad for Scott and Cleo when you look at it from an outside perspective of "damn, theyve altered their entire lives to fit Pearl's life" and... yeah. that is what it is. It's sort of a parallel/statement to people who break their backs to keep their parents or like bio family in their lives even though it restricts them from doing what they want. Also Scott and Cleo have thought over this several times. And while Scott and Pearl rejected the soulbond at like 18/19 (she's a year older than him), they've been adults for a while now and they have civil conversations. And Scott does stand for Pearl's major end goals, just not her ways of doing it.

But the issue between Scott and Pearl (I fucking LOVE thinking about their dynamic because it's so bloody complicated) is that Scott cares about Pearl, and Pearl does Not care about Scott. Other than keeping him alive (bc then she'll die), she doesn't give two shits about him. However, she trusts Scott. But Scott doesn't trust her, because why the fuck should he.

Like, yes, he hears all her thoughts, but he doesn't trust her in the sense that he is On Edge around her constantly. ALSO IVE ACCIDENTALLY DONE THAT BUT THAT'S PART OF MY HEADCANON FOR THE LIFE SERIES

Pearl trusts more people than she cares for. Scott cares for more people than he trusts. The amount of people Scott trusts are about on par with the amount that Pearl trusts.

Also EEP stands for Empires Education Program. I love the EEP. All Empires people went there.

hello it is now a completely different day and place (I'm at the kitchen table and it is midnight)

(It has been thirty minutes I'm in my bed again and I am going to fall asleep. I need to take my meds. I have now taken my meds. now if I wanted to I could just fall asleep. I'm gonna keep talking here.)

In the Empires Education Program (which is referred to by people who want to mock it and also the attendees of it as the eep. Others say Empires or E E P (separated letters)) there are two years of people attending that we care about.

Everyone that was in Empires or SOS, minus False, Pearl, Jimmy, and Gem is part of the EEP.

The secondary year we care about (the grade below) has Oli, Owen, Mog, Eloise, and a few others unnamed (prolly from Witchcraft) because I refuse to make this class smaller than Magic School Bus's.

Everyone (minus Pearl, Jimmy, and Gem) in Empires S1 is in the first year of EEP. The second year has everyone else (minus False) that was in Empires S2 and SOS.

The primary year we care about (the most plot relevant people are here) has Scott, Cleo, Lizzie, Joel, Shelby, Katherine, fWhip, Pix, Sausage, and Joey. You might notice that Cleo is in here, and they are not part of this group. Cleo is in here because I said so. Also I needed a place for her to be besties with Scott. And Cleo would be a great addition to this crew, just saying.

... genuinely it is a completely different day and I am in a separate building and I have no idea what my ultimatum here was

Anyways. Martyn is a vigilante, Pearl's a villain, Scott's a doctor, and Cleo's a professor.

The funny thing that I'm absolutely in love with is how they semi get along. but mostly don't.

see. Scott and Pearl had that whole scene where Pearl literally ran out of magic and started ripping it out of Scott's soul. Magic is part of your soul, so it comes from a similar place as your soulbond.

And so Scott and Pearl have a well justified rivalry. And also after they broke the soulbond -- OH I JUST REMEMBERED THE REALLY FUNNY SHIT -- they both became Worthy, Scott significantly earlier than Pearl.

I still gotta explain the Worthy thing dammit

Anyways the really funny shit is that normally, when you reject your soulbond, you essentially function exactly the same as a person without a soulbond except you've got a weird tattoo, and you will die at the same moment that they do.

EXCEPT the divorce quartet are part of the Eighteen (which irl are just the life series members), and this means that the rejection doesn't work. It works at first, and Pearl and Scott have silent minds for the first time ever, and then they hear the slight whisper of the other one's voice and just. they're suffering.

It's funny as fuck, imo, because I'm the sadist author that makes the characters suffer. hehe

essentially, the telepathy hurts more after they rejected it than before. And also they also have the normal consequence of "if the one dies, then the other one dies too" which normal soulmates don't have.

But because of the rejection not working, the four of them realized that they're Winners. And they all figure out that they're Winners because Pearl believes that Mortality mythology (aka life series canon events) is real.

And Martyn was like "hah Pearl you're crazy"

and Pearl straight up goes "Jimmy's the Canary"

and the three of them stare at Pearl

because EVERYONE has heard the legend of the canary. It doesn't fucking matter who you are.

And Cleo's straight up like "holy shit"

And Scott knew the entire time bc he shares a brain with Pearl except he semi didn't believe it but he knew that Pearl believed it

But now they figure out that Scott is the Stars (2nd winner), Pearl is the Moon (3rd winner), Martyn is Mars/water/The Tower (4th winner), and Cleo is Pluto/fire/Death (6th winner).

And then perhaps Grian just walks out of the house and is like what're y'all talking about.

And then Pearl just stares at him. because she remembers what his soulmark is.

It's the sun and the earth. which is the missing duo of winners.

and Pearl is like. Grian. You're a winner.

and Grian's like "wtf are you on"

Since Pearl is literally a villain. Martyn is a more hero aligned vigilante. Scott and Cleo, while being civilians, do actively help Pearl by giving her potions and shit since she and Martyn can go to the Nether to get the ingredients, and Scott and Cleo have a permit to brew potions.

Like. Scott and Cleo are like passive and will not get outed in the grand scheme, but technically they break the law daily. And I love them so much for that. Like. They know WAYYY too much to be civilians. Not even JOEL knows as much, and he's the motherfucking husband of Riptide, who is the sister of Scarlet AND Sparrow. AND the Canary.

Anyways. Um. If you want to ask any clarifying questions, I would be more than happy to answer those.

You don't have to give it a listen but a big part of the inspiration was this one Florence and the Machine song - Shake it Out.

Basically, there's this one line that's just so beautifully delivered that made me 100% think about MC recovering from being rejected by Lucifer:

AND IT JUST!!! SENDS MEEEEEE! So much pride on both sides! The situation with Lucifer just has me foaming at the mouth. Because can you even imagine?

Lucifer rejects you in the context of Diavolo having feelings for him; he's hyper vigilant, desperately asserting himself and his singleness/independence in this instance because he can, and because a relationship is the last thing on his mind with all these worries, and because really, some stupid human like you?

And then. AND THEN. This!! Stupid!! Fucking!! Peacock!!! FALLS IN LOVE!! Yeah that's right Lucifer you dumb bitch now you really did fuck it up huh??? HUH???

You accepted and respected his decision with all the grace he didn't dare pray Diavolo would, you showed him and his family nothing but kindness while they threatened you, you helped them come together and understand each other.

And what can he do now? What the fuck can he do now? He wants you so badly, more than anything he could ever have dreamed of, and he knows how badly you wanted him.

But do you still want him? How can he even bring himself to ask? The perfect storm of reasons to pursue you and reasons holding him back,,,

Star Trek SNW Headcannons

This is some of my Star Trek Strange New Worlds bullshit. Feel free to scroll, followers. Scroll like the wind!

So far Star Trek: SNW has been the most Heterosexual Star Trek in YEARS. Granted, we're just a bit past halfway through the first season. There's been queer shit mentioned-ish. But compared to DISCO, this series has embraced being the gayest straight show since TOS.

I like it. Don't me wrong. The nostalgia is ON FIRE with this show. I'm just eating it up like a turtle and a strawberry. (Om...nom...fucking nom...)

But my thirst to see my queer fam represented (as well as myself) on screen has lead my brain to turn into a neon rainbow cloud of electricity with one mission: gay everyone. Gay as verb, mind you. I want to gay EVERYONE.

Now, I won't. In my headcannons I'm sure they'll be a token straight character, so don't you worry my little allies.

But I need more queer.

Get ready your hate comments, my sweet lampreys, because I'm about to RUIN some stuff.

Pike: I'm about to start ruining right now. Pike is our token hetero. He's a tried and true ally, but he has a thing for powerful feminine energy. He wants to be RULED. (But what about Spock?? You leave Kirk's bitch out of this!)

Una: Bi. Lusting over La'an. Knowing the chain of command, tho, so not wanting to do anything about it. Probably has had a previous romantic life. Perhaps has a child/children.

La'an: Lusting over Una. Follows the damn rules so same as Una. Repressed emotionally enough to have only had unsuccessful flings. Is too intimidating for most, even the butchest among them. Loves women but doesn't need your fucking labels because she's so out of touch with her romantic side that she doesn't even think about it.

Ortegas: Ace/Demi (that's right, AT ME). She is passionate as hell. She is friend. She is queer platonic with Chapel. She is loving some garlic bread and cake. She is tired of your bullshit.

Spock: Pan. I mean, if he's gonna be bi (which he totally is) it would be just as logical to be pan because there are so many expressions of gender and spectrums of anatomical and genetic sexual characteristics...why limit? Fascinating. He also has a crush on everyone all the time. Polyam as well because ¿Por qué no dos?

Chapel: Thinks she needs a man but really she just needs a family. She's in so many queer platonics she has trading cards. She likes sex. If anything she is pan. But she thinks she wants to settle down. Pines for one person while not realizing she actually wants everyone. Also has a kink for aliens. Would never tell anyone she's sweet on Hemmer. But who wouldn't be?

M'Benga: Complicated. His love is focused on his daughter currently. His energy is taken by figuring out how to save her. No time for relationships other than the platonic family ones he's making with the crew or professional specialists he's working with to treat her. He's a sweet cinnamon roll and I hope they give him happiness. I'd want him on my side. Fierce love, that one.

Hemmer: My love! Hemmer! Hello, dear! He's super gay. Has an Andorian low-key partner he connects with daily on another starship (Shran story influence). They joke about how Starfleet tries to spread the aliens out to every ship and that's why they've never been assigned together. They're casual because neither have the emotional resources to dedicate to each other in a committed way. But neither one are too invested in seeking out other partners either. Both have traumatic backstories where they are rejected by their family units. I even have his partner's name. Etnar. Also, Etnar's a botanist.

Uhura: Super into other cultures, she is super pan. Everything is open to her. She wants to know. She has compassion. Her relationships have been strong and passionate. But she is still wandering before settling down. She is focused on what's in front of her, not the future. Crushes? Oh yeah. Like Christine she can't help but find everyone so attractive but also so interesting. She doesn't know if she'll ever feel like she truly belongs but she wants to make the MOST of her time! I just can't wait to see where they take her. And unlike the other characters, I really don't need to see her in a relationship. She is a such a full character already. I just want to see what she accomplishes!

Kirk: You think I'd pass up Sammy? Nah. He's curious. He'll try anything once. He defies labels. He just does things for the sake of doing them. He gets hurt. He gets up. He tries someone else. Ends up in a surprisingly stable relationship. Probably with an androgynous alien without the definitions of sex and gender that we have. They're very happy together.

“I don’t know who you’re referring to,” Obi-Wan said dismissively, and very obviously lying. He wanted anything but to be having this conversation right now.

“You can’t think me to be that naïve, Master,” Anakin chuckles as the doors slide closed. It was just the two of them. “I remember her anyways,” he continues, while Obi-Wan’s heart sinks into his stomach. “I know I was very young when she left but I remember distinctly the way you looked at her.”

“It’s nothing that should be of any concern,” Obi-Wan replies, looking up at the ceiling- this already feeling like the longest turbolift he’s ever been in. They’d only gone up one floor before they were stopped and more people entered.

“I think you’re in love with her,” Anakin says so casually, and Obi-Wan coughs nervously because of the shock of Anakin’s words.

“A Jedi holds no attachments, Anakin,” he says, trying his best to take control over this conversation.

“Of course, Master,” Anakin replies sarcastically, holding back a scoff. He bites his lip to hold back a smile and decides to spare his Master of further embarrassment for now.

“Of course, Master,” Anakin replies sarcastically, holding back a scoff. He bites his lip to hold back a smile and decides to spare his Master of further embarrassment for now.

He sat on his bunk in the Padawan dormitories and the lamp next to his bunk was his only source of light. The night was pitch dark, not even any stars visible, and yet he sat in complete concentration as his hands worked with the beads he was working with. He knew he would get chastised if he was found up after curfew, but he was determined to finish this project before tomorrow.

He had created a necklace with a chain made of a thin strip of leather, and he was carefully feeding beads onto the material. The beads were dark jeweled tones, various dark greens and blues that complimented the dark brown of the leather. He had never made something so intricate before with just his hands, but it was his goal for it to be perfect. It had to be, for you. It was your thirteenth birthday and it needed to be special.

Traditionally, Padawans would receive a gift from their Masters, but he couldn’t help his desire to also present you with a gift. He knew it was wrong of him, but young Obi-Wan Kenobi harbored a very big crush on his dear friend. The guilt always affected him, but the feelings for you were much stronger than any guilt that tugs on his heartstrings.

The turbolift’s doors opened on the floor they needed and it snapped Obi-Wan out of his daydream where he had let himself wander into the past. He walked out first and Anakin followed. The were sent by the Jedi Consul to Coruscant as representatives for the Jedi Consul to meet with members of the Galactic Senate. There were rumors you would also be in attendance, accompanying the Senator from Alderaan, as you were sent there many years ago for your very extended mission with your late Master.

Walking into the conference room, Obi-Wan tried his best to keep a professional front. He was a very nervous wreck and he thought that his heart would leap from his chest. However, his heart deflated as his eyes scanned the room as there was no sign of you. Somehow, you not being there was in a way both better and worse for him. He hadn’t had this much trouble sorting out his emotions in years. He walked into the room and began shaking hands, introducing himself and Anakin to every Senator he had not yet met and catching up with the ones he’s known.

As people were getting seated around the oblong table, Obi-Wan noticed there were two seats across from him remained empty. He had only just sat down when the door opened again, two figures walking swiftly into the room, offering sincere apologies for their tardiness and then taking the two empty seats across from Obi-Wan and Anakin. A woman sat directly across from Anakin and a man Obi-Wan recognized as the Senator of Alderaan sat across from him. His fears and every other bottled-up emotion he had been dealing with bubbled to the surface again as he realized that the figure, he saw out of focus take the seat across from Anakin was you. The Vice Chair was sitting at one end of the table, and was making her opening remarks for the meeting when Obi-Wan made the fatal mistake of stealing a glance at you.

You were just as beautiful to him as ever. You didn’t look much different than when he last saw you all those years ago. Time, he decided, was much nicer to you than it was him. Your eyes were exactly as he remembered. Kind and incredibly expressive- intoxicating to him even. Of course, the last time he had seen you, you were a young, shy girl, and now you were a woman- holding yourself with confidence and grace, sitting up straight and doing a much better job of keeping yourself together on the outside than he was according to his perception.

And his heart stopped when he saw his necklace resting around your neck.

“Obi-Wan, it’s beautiful,” you marveled, pulling the necklace up out of the small box. “Help me put it on?” You asked, handing him the necklace before turning around and moving your hair out of the way.

“O-of course,” he replied nervously and fumbled with the clasp but did manage to help you get the necklace on.

“I love it,” you smile, holding your hand up to run your fingers across the smooth beads. “I’m never going to take it off.”

He grinned back at you, butterflies in his stomach looking at how it looked on you. Your whole face felt hot, and he knew he couldn’t help the blush rise on his face. Even at thirteen, he was in love with you. Of course, he was young and it wasn’t until much later on he realized he had loved you way back then. But nonetheless, he was undeniably in love with you.

“I think this is the best gift I’ve ever gotten,” you say with a smile. “Obi-Wan I can’t tell you how much this means to me.”

“I’m glad you like it,” he manages to stutter. He follows your lead as you take a seat. You both sat under the tree in the courtyard of the temple. You both sit in silence for a few moments before you decide to speak again.

“Does it ever both you that you can never form attachments with someone?” You ask softly. “We’re not allowed to fall in love?”

“I-I suppose it does,” Obi-Wan answers, his heart beating so fast. It was like you could read every thought in his mind he had managed to close off as best as he could. “Does it bother you?”

“Yeah,” You admit. You look up at the sky as the colors signify that the sun is beginning to set and you both would need to go to dinner soon. “It’s frustrating… the rule is written like it’s something you can chose. No matter how hard I try, I can’t help how I feel at times…”

“I know how you feel,” he says softly, looking at you with his heart on his sleeve. “I- I really do. You have no idea.”

“Obi-Wan?” You say softly, even though you were alone you spoke in a hushed tone like someone would possibly hear.

“Yes?”

“I feel- I feel like that about you,” you admit, unable to look at him in case he was to reject you. You knew you shouldn’t- you both did. The feelings you held for him were too strong for you to suppress. You had two hopes, perhaps he would feel the same or he would talk you into reason.

You never imagined he would confess he felt the same. You also never imagined that he would lean over and place a quick kiss on your lips as a response, just overcome with the relief to know you felt the same. It was the first kiss either of you ever experienced.

How desperately he wanted to just pull you into his arms now. Despite the room of people, and the very important conversation he should be engaging in- his focus is solely on you. Anakin nudges him when a Senator directs a question their way and he tries his best to answer. He felt Anakin’s struggle to maintain a professional stature and Obi-Wan knew after the meeting his apprentice would be unable to hold back his comments.

The meeting went on for ages, and Obi-Wan just felt uneasy the entire time. When the meeting adjourned, he wasn’t sure how to approach you. You and the Senator you accompanied lingered like many others to chat. Anakin, before Obi-Wan could even think of what to do, confidently walked over to you as soon as the senator you were speaking to walked away.

“Master (Y/L/N),” Anakin said, “I don’t know if you remember me. Anakin Skywalker- I was a Padawan at the Temple right before you left on your mission. I’m sure you remember my Master, Master Kenobi.”

“I do remember you,” you say with a smile, looking between the young apprentice and the man who loved. You tried your best to remain civil, and you clearly sensed the amusement of young Skywalker at your and Obi-Wan’s discomfort. “You’ve grown up quite a bit.”

“That was the plan,” Anakin jests, “I’m going to say hello to the Senator Amidala.” And just like that, it left the two of you to face each other for the first time in years.

“Obi-Wan,” you say breathlessly, finally allowing yourself to address him. He looked amazing. He’s traded his braid for a beard, and he looked so distinguished. He always held himself with pride but now he looked the part of a Jedi Master- with an apprentice!

“I’m so happy to see you again,” he says with a smile, one that was clouded with an undertone of sadness. “How long will you be staying in the city?” He asks.

“Just for a few days and then I am returning back to Alderaan,” you reply. “If you have the time, I’d love to catch up?”

“I’d like nothing more,” Obi-Wan says, making you smile. You hated that the first time seeing him is in a place where you can’t just collapse in his arms and just immediately make up for the years away from him. You didn’t even know if he still felt the same as you did. You never stopped loving him. He had promised you the same all those years ago, but you were not expecting him to still hold those same feelings. You both committed yourselves to the Jedi Order and you cannot expect him to go back on those terms you both must adhere.

“Tonight?” You ask, hopefully.

“Tonight,” he confirms. He wanted nothing more than to leave this conference room. Sweep you away from the politics and the mess of the galaxy, to express his undying love and how the time apart just made him long for you. He’d pull you into him and beg you to return to the Temple with him so you could be in his life again.

“You should reign in that apprentice of yours,” you joke, looking over at Anakin with Senator Amidala, “You looked at me the same way,” you say, turning back to him. He chuckles, looking over at the two of them. “So anyways,” you say quickly, before he can respond to your observation, “I’m going to be staying at the Temple while I’m here, I suppose I’ll see you both there later on?”

“Yes, undoubtedly,” Obi-Wan answers. “I hate to leave, but I need to reign in my apprentice.”

“We’ll have plenty of time to catch up,” you say nonchalantly.

“I’ll make sure to find you when we return,” he says, before heading towards Anakin and Senator Amidala.

You sigh, and begin your goodbyes, parting ways with the Alderaan Senator for the day. You start your journey back to the Temple, with Obi-Wan being the only thing on your mind.
